Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga puts you at the head of a small band wandering a fading kingdom. Combat is turn-based but brisk, with a timing bar that rewards you for reading enemy patterns instead of spamming attacks. The writing carries real weight — characters remember what you said three towns ago.

The mobile interface surprised us. Menus are deep without being a mess, and you can set up a battle plan and let it run on easier fights. We spent most of our time just following threads of side quests, which turned out to be some of the best content.
