Iron Meridian
★★★★☆ 4.3
Iron Meridian asks you to defend a shrinking territory by managing supply, morale, and terrain rather than brute force. Each turn you weigh where to send scarce resources, and the map punishes overreach. It's the kind of game that teaches you through losing.
There's a satisfying honesty to the difficulty. Early scenarios ease you in, but the campaign expects you to plan several turns ahead. On a phone it works best in short bursts between longer thinking sessions, and the auto-save respects that.
