Great Games You Can Play With One Hand
Some of the best mobile games assume you've only got one thumb free. These are the ones I actually reach for when I'm standing on a packed platform.
Arcade tappers lead the pack — quick to start, quick to stop. But a surprising number of card games and light strategy titles work one-handed too, as long as the menus aren't a maze.
What I look for is a clean exit. A good one-hand game lets you drop it mid-session without losing progress. Games that punish you for stopping don't belong in your pocket.
If you only install one thing from this category, make it something with short, self-contained rounds. You'll play it far more than the sprawling epic you keep meaning to get back to.
