The First Settings I Change In Any New Game
Before I play anything new, I open the settings. Default options are chosen to impress, not to suit you, and a few tweaks go a long way.
First stop is usually sensitivity — whether it's tilt steering in a racer or drag speed in an arcade title. Defaults tend to run too twitchy for small screens.
Next I turn off aggressive notifications. A game that pings me about daily rewards is one I'll uninstall out of spite. I want to decide when I play.
Finally I check for a colorblind or high-contrast mode and larger text options. Even if I don't need them, their presence usually tells me the developers sweated the details.
